August 2020-Present Head Residential Advisor, Union College

  • In addition to the roles and responsibilities of a Residential Advisor, the Head Residential Advisor addresses and mediates all staff conflicts, builds a community within the staff, and communicates openly and honestly to the Residence Director.

August 2020-Present Student Mentor, Union College

  • The student-mentor meets weekly with first-year students who are on the neurodiverse spectrum. The mentor provides advice regarding academics, social life, and emotional support to facilitate a successful transition to college.

July 2021-August 2021 Student Researcher, Union College

  • Assisted in creating a digital scholarly edition of the diaries of Jonathan Pearson (1813-87), a Union student, professor, librarian, treasurer, and trustee. This experience enabled exploration of the digital humanities, including digitization, digital publishing, scholarly editing, archival research, and computational text analysis.

August 2019-March 2020 Residential Advisor, Union College

  • Facilitates the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall by developing a community between residents as members of a floor through various programs and interactions while upholding and enforcing college policy.

July 2016-December 2018 Junior Ranger, National Park Service

  • Researched and wrote about a topic of interest to successfully engage those who came to tour the National Park. All who give tours must become skilled in interpreting both the objects of Lindenwald and the rooms themself.

September 2018-November 2018 Intern, Faso for Congress

  • Served in the campaign by calling residents of NY-19, attending staff briefings, and poll watching in a crucial area during election season.

December 2017-March 2018 Intern, Columbia County District Attorney’s Office

  • Provided aid for pending cases in the District Attorney’s office and courthouse.
